Medical Center migration to be tomorrow

On Friday, Sept. 23, beginning at 6 p.m., until Sunday, Sept. 26, at 6 p.m., the migration will take place for Medical Center users. During this period, users will not be able to access their Box accounts, which will be changed from to  



As stated in a previous article about the migration, the new login screen will look a little different. Minimal impact to folder/file ownership, and folder/file collaboration is expected. However, shared links will be lost and no trashed/deleted files will be moved over.

The folder structure within VUMC Box accounts will change slightly to allow for new folder organization at departmental levels.  In the new environment, all Box users will have 2 generated folders: a user named folder and a Box Help folder. All folders shared with the user will also display on the Box home screen.

When the migration takes place, issues should be reported by calling the Help Desk at 615-343-HELP (615-343-4357).
