How will health policy be affected by the election results? Panel today at 4 p.m.

"Election 2016: Implications for Health Policy," a Research Into Policy and Practice Lecture presented by the Department of Health Policy, will be at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 10, in 214 Light Hall.

The event will be moderated by Melinda Buntin, Ph.D., professor and chair, Department of Health Policy.

Speakers will be:

Charles Kahn III, president and CEO, Federation of American Hospitals. Kahn is one of only five health care leaders who have appeared on Modern Healthcare magazine’s annual “100 Most Influential People in Healthcare” list since its inception. He currently leads the Federation of American Hospitals, the largest association of for-profit hospitals in the country.

Ceci Connolly, president and CEO, Alliance of Community Health Plans (ACHP). Connolly has spent more than a decade in health care, first as a national correspondent for The Washington Post during the passage of the ACA and then in leadership roles at international consulting firms. She now leads the Alliance of Community Health Plans, the largest association of nonprofit health plans in the country.
