Annual Social Work Conference to be Nov. 30; registration deadline is today
The Vanderbilt Annual Social Work Conference will be held Nov. 30 in the second floor theater at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
The daylong event will have a morning session, "From Person to Population," presented by Melissa McGee, M.S., M.A., mental health director for the Council on Children's Health of the Tennessee Commission on Children and Youth.
The afternoon session is titled "Everyday Ethics" and will be presented by Kate Payne, J.D., R.N., associate professor of Nursing at Vanderbilt, of the Center for Biomedical Ethics and Society.
The cost for the full day's program is $110; each half-day is $55.
