MLK Day kicks off with morning program, Jan. 16
The VUMC community will observe and kickoff Martin Luther King Jr. Day with a morning tribute program held as part of the annual commemoration series of lectures, service activities and events.
On Monday, Jan.16, all faculty and staff are invited to gather from 7:30 to 9 a.m. in the north lobby of Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s (VUMC) Light Hall to reflect and celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. King. The event will feature Vanderbilt students and VUMC staff performances and include remarks and light refreshments.
