Boys and girls 10-13 years old, with and without autism, needed for study

Researchers at Vanderbilt are examining stress and arousal across pubertal development in children with and without autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The researchers are looking for 10-13 year old boys and girls with autism OR typical development to be followed annually over four years. They are also recruiting female siblings of children with autism who are 10-13 years old. 

Participation in this study includes:

  1. Psychological testing and physical exam, 2-3 hours
  2. Social interaction and social evaluation, 2-3 hours
  3. Follow-up assessments one time a year for a total time commitment of four years.

For participating in our research, $20 compensation is offered for each visit, along with a research letter with test results from psychological testing, provided annually.
