The VUMC Choir will perform a Holiday Program at 5 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 14, on the second floor performance stage at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
The choir, which was formed earlier this year, is made up of VUMC employees and students and is sponsored by the Office for Diversity Affairs and VUMC Human Resources. The group has more than 200 members, about 50 of whom will participate in the Holiday Program.
New singers are welcome. The group is looking for singers of all abilities, and auditions are not required. The choir is open to all VUMC staff, faculty, students and residents. The only requirement is that you love to sing. The choir will perform all types of music, from Gospel to contemporary.
