Healthy Volunteers Needed for a Drug Study

The study is to see if two medicines interact with each other. One is an FDA-approved pill for treating virus infections. The other is an experimental pill for treating bacterial infections. The combination of these two drugs is experimental and not FDA approved for use in healthy people.

You must be at least age 18  but not older than 65. The medicines are taken by mouth. The study involves clinic visits for blood draws and two admissions to the General Clinical Research Center (each admission for three days). Female participants must not be able to get pregnant (postmenopausal, had uterus removed, both ovaries removed or both tubes tied). Other exclusion criteria may apply.

You will get payment for taking part in this study. For more information, contact Deborah Sutherland at 936-2642, or
