The HHMI/VUMC Certificate Program in Molecular Medicine is Now Accepting Applications

The HHMI/VUMC Certificate Program in Molecular Medicine is a non-degree program has been designed to allow for integration of thesis work with important clinical, disease-based areas. A supervised experience, including didactic and experiential courses, seminars and individual experiences, under the guidance of a clinical mentor and basic science mentor, culminates in the conferral of the Certificate in Molecular Medicine. This program is funded by a grant from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and provides partial stipend support to participating students.

Ph.D. track students, including international students, in any Biomedical department or degree program at Vanderbilt are eligible to apply. The application deadline is Monday, August 9, 2010. We are delighted to announce that we are now accepting applications to the HHMI/VUMC Certificate Program in Molecular Medicine for the 2010/11 academic year.
