SMART Training at the Vanderbilt Orthopaedic Fitness Center

Moving effectively is the key to feeling better and improving human performance. SMART Training can help you to achieve both. The program starts by focusing on movement and movement patterns, not muscles. Only when the body knows how to move smoothly and freely can it truly begin to reach its full performance potential. You don’t have to be an athlete to participate, SMART Training is for anyone who wants to move and feel better and stronger.

Each member who joins the program will receive an initial evaluation to determine how efficiently your body moves. Then, a series of one-on-one sessions will focus on:

• Dynamic warm up

• Injury prevention

• Balance

• Postural control

• Core stability and strength

• Power and explosiveness

• Flexibility

• Strength and endurance

There are a variety of packages available starting as low as $75. Get smart and start training to improve your health and fitness level today.
