LifeFlight's 911 2.0 Communicator class is an 8-hour class designed for the 911 dispatcher to come and learn about Vanderbilt LifeFlight. Topics to include how to launch an aircraft, flight following, aviation weather, fixed-wing and a look into our trauma system. This class is free and does include CEUs. Boomers, Elders, and More Series: What to Expect in the Middle Stages of Dementia
In the middle stages of dementia, those who were care partners become hands-on caregivers. Come hear Tiffany Cloud-Mann, of the Alzheimer's Association, discuss the symptoms of the middle stage, communication techniques, behavior changes, relationship changes, and personal care. She will provide you with helpful strategies to provide safe, effective, and comfortable care.

Join the Cumberland Pediatric Foundation for a free family fun night at the Nashville Zoo!
We will host a community forum where the public can learn and ask questions about vaccinations while having fun at the zoo.
Dr. Elizabeth Williams, Research Instructor in Vaccinology and Vaccine Safety at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, will host an informational forum regarding vaccines and school requirements for vaccines. This forum is open to the public and will address vaccinations for all ages. Main exhibits will be closed but we will have an animal show for your enjoyment.
We will also have free popcorn, snow cones, games and more for you and your kids! The event will be located just outside the carousel inside the Zoo under the event tent.
An Occupational Health nurse will roam the Children's Hospital Emergency Department and Radiology Department on Wednesday, July 17th, 2013 from 6:00pm - 10:00pm, providing TB skin tests and immunizations to Staff and Faculty. In addition, there will be a Know Your Numbers - Click Here table: Measure your blood pressure, weight and body mass index with Health Plus. These numbers can be used for the Go for the Gold program.
