Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital Nursing

Nursing at Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital is charged with providing the highest quality care to individuals who live with a psychiatric disorder. Nursing is made up of registered nurses at all levels, as well as mental health specialists and medical receptionists who work collaboratively with other members of the interdisciplinary team. Nurses and mental health specialists are empowered to make decisions that impact practice and quality care.

We strive to provide excellent, evidenced-based, and patient-centered care to all of our patients, their loved ones, and the community.  Our goals are to offer our patients support and encouragement that there is hope for recovery.
