Kelli Boyd, D.V.M., Ph.D., Associate Professor

Dr. Boyd is Associate Director of Comparative Pathology and a Veterinary Pathologist with extensive experience on pathology of mouse models and genetically engineered mouse phenotyping.


Mark de Caestecker, M.B., B.S., Ph.D., Associate Professor

Dr. de Caestecker studies renal development and regenerative therapies for acute kidney injury and is Director of the Mouse Kidney Injury Workshop.


Patty Chen, D.V.M., DACLAM, Assistant Professor

Dr. Chen is a veterinarian with extensive experience in comparative physiology and pathology.


Agnes Fogo, M.D., Professor and Director, Renal Pathology

Dr. Fogo is an expert on human and experimental renal pathology, with many years' experience studying the effects of chronic renal injury models in mice.


Leslie Gewin, M.D., Assistant Professor

Dr. Gewin is an expert on the mechanisms of fibrosis and experimental CKD.


Ray Harris, M.D., Professor and Chief of Nephrology

Dr. Harris is Renal Division Chief. His research interests focus on the role of growth factors and eicosanoids in renal physiology and pathophysiology. He has over 20 years’ experience studying experimental models of AKI and CKD.


Ambra Pozzi, Ph.D., Professor

Dr. Pozzi is an expert on molecular mechanisms of fibrosis and glomerulosclerosis.


Ken Salleng, D.V.M., Associate Director, Division of Animal care

Dr. Salleng is Associate Director of the Division of Animal Care at Vanderbilt and a Veterinary Pathologist.


Haichun Yang, M.D., Ph.D., Instructor, Renal Pathology

Dr. Yang is an expert on experimental renal pathology and has extensive experience developing quantitative analyses.
